JCCAE in South America is under the care and direction of Dr. Victor Daniel Rivera-Carrion.
Dr. Rivera-Carrion is Director of International Development for the Trinity Bible College & Seminary (Puerto Rico) and the Joint Commission on Chaplain Accreditation and Education. Dr. Rivera-Carrion is a Professor and has been instrumental in teaching and assisting in the placement of JCCAE instructors to cover all of South America. The South American Division of the Pastoral Care and Biblical Education Foundation has operated under the direction of Dr. Rivera-Carrion since 2008 and is located in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
Dr. Rivera-Carrion is the Director of Pastoral Care and Biblical Counseling Education Foundation, and holds a PhD in Religious Counseling from Divine Bible College in Virginia, Doctor in Psychology (Biblical Model) Institute of Theology and Christian Therapy in Texas, Doctorate in Pastoral Counseling from the Spirit of Fire Bible Institute in Virginia, Doctor of Divinity in Christian Ministries BOLM Theological College Texas, Master in Christian Counseling Metropolitan Theological College, New York. Dr. Rivera has a Board certified, Level IV Pastoral Counseling certificate. He is also a member of Colegio de Formacion Teologica Ministerial (Puerto Rico) and the Christian Faith Based Counselors International Association.
Dr. Rivera-Carrion resides in Bayamon Puerto Rico and is employed for the Municipality of San Juan capital of Puerto Rico as General Manager of Plaza del Mercado de Rio Piedras (the largest state owned market in the Caribbean). Dr. Rivera-Carrion served in the US army for 12 ½ years (3rd Armored Division 4th of the 82nd Field Artillery, Hanau Germany) (301st M.P company Ft Buchannan Puerto Rico), and is a Persian Gulf War Veteran. Dr. Rivera-Carrion is or has been associated with the following institutions: International Association of Evangelical Chaplains (World Evangelical Alliance), United Association of Christian Chaplains and Counselors International (UACCCI), ISAAC International Substance Abuse and Addiction Coalition, National Association of Social Workers, National Association of Faith Based Counselors, Association of Biblical Counselors, Ames Bible College, Good News Bible College, United Graduate College and Seminary, The Institute of Theology and Christian Therapy (ITCT and AACT), The Cathedral University, Concilium Curatorum Seminarium Evangelico Yave and numerous others.
